Executive Committee
This Committee consists of the President, Past President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Corporate Secretary. This Committee is responsible for addressing administrative and budgetary emergencies, appointing members to standing and special committees, and assessing annual achievements. Finance Committee
This Committee addresses financial issues including but not limited to budgeting, financial reporting, purchasing policy, membership fee review, and premises. Advocacy Committee
The Advocacy Committee monitors, analyzes, and actively engages on issues affecting the local business community at the municipal, provincial, and federal levels. This includes matters related to taxation, government spending, regulatory frameworks, and public policy. The Committee works to positively influence decision-makers, advance pro-business policies, and support initiatives that promote business retention, expansion, and overall economic vitality. Programming Committee
This Committee reviews, monitors, and recommends Chamber revenue-producing projects and initiatives. This Committee has sub-committees for special events, such as the Awards Gala and Golf Tournament. Membership Committee
This committee reviews, monitors, and recommends ways to attract and retain Chamber members. AGM Awards Nominating Committee
This Committee consists of one Executive Committee member, two Directors, and a selection from the membership. This Committee is responsible for seeking and recommending members for the Board of Directors to ensure appropriate representation and a solid succession plan. Plus select Lifetime Business Achievement Award and Lifetime Volunteer Achievement Award.
