Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA)

Brockville and District Chapter

The Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) is Canada's HR thought leader and the largest HR association in the country. In Ontario, HRPA regulates the HR profession and issues the Certified Human Resources Professional(CHRP) designation, the national standard for excellence in human resources management. HRPA has more than 19,000 members in 28 chapters and hosts the largest annual HR conference in Canada.

The Brockville and District Chapter, serves Leeds, Grenville and Lanark. With 60 members strong, the Chapter holds one of the highest percentages of participation across the association, and one of the highest member retention rates. Our Executive Committee is comprised of a group of local individuals dedicated to serving chapter members.

Chapter events with guests speakers focusing on relevant HR topics are generally held monthly from September to June (excluding December). All activities are coordinated by volunteers and funded in part by the annual chapter membership fee. The chapter welcomes you to their meetings and events and looks forward to meeting you. Members represent a diverse cross section of HR professionals in various career stages including students, HR practitioners, CHRPs, CHRP Candidates, Skilled Professionals, HR Consultants, Employment Consultants as well as others with a close connection to the HR field.
