Ambassadors Make A Difference

August 7, 2007

Brockville and the 1000 Islands region is a beautiful, rural community – the perfect setting to live, work and enjoy life.  It is the mission of several departments from every level of government with the assistance of volunteers from the private sector to spread this message for the purpose of growing our economic base and enhancing quality of life for our citizens.  You are cordially invited to play an important role in our community’s future by joining the many who are already enthusiastic ambassadors.

Every citizen has the opportunity to ‘sell’ our many assets when they are interacting with potential guests, residents and business people - even each other.  And it is an easy sell . . . we are . . .

We are a community with heart as demonstrated by the many volunteers and successful charitable campaigns that further enhance our tremendous quality of life.  It is easy to take for granted what you have in your own backyard and we sometimes need to be reminded of how fortunate we are to live and do business in this community.  I encourage you to consider how much we have to offer and be willing to share it with others – be an ambassador.
